With upcoming regulations mandating more recyclate inclusion, it is critical that a supply of high-quality PCR is available from household waste recycling. I will be highlighting our learnings and efforts on this topic. Part of it is designing the product early on with recycling in mind. Another part of it is employing pre-treatment strategies such as up-wash, dissolution, washing for deinking, etc. so that the output recyclate quality is suitable for a wider range of applications.
