developing fully compostable alternatives made from agricultural
by-products and mushrooms’ mycelium. The technology transforms
waste materials into innovative industrial packaging that combines
high mechanical strength with environmental sustainability,
ensuring products safely protect heavy or fragile items while being
compostable at end of life. SMUSH offers a wide range of solutions,
including standard products such as edge protectors, blocks,
cushioning chips, and rounded shells, as well as custom-moulded
packaging tailored to specific requirements. SMUSH products have
already been successfully tested in relevant environments,
demonstrating both performance and eco-friendliness. Currently,
the company is focused on scaling up its growth technology and
production facilities to reach industrial-level application and broader
market adoption.
