Surendra Patawari is the Founder and Chairman of Gemini Corporation NV. Gemini creates a greener and self-sustainable circular economy, by engaging in global sourcing, recycling & distribution of plastics, paper, metals & rubber, giving second life to 2 million tons of materials annually.

A champion in the recycling industry, Mr Patawari is a part of the Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI) started by His Majesty King Charles III. He is also a Board Member of The Alliance to End Plastic Waste (AEPW) and on one of the Advisory Boards of the World Economic Forum (WEF).

A sought-after keynote speaker at global platforms, Mr Patawari, was listed among the top 10 recyclers in the world in 2023. Among the numerous awards and accolades received since 1989, Gemini was recently awarded the WEF’s New Champions Award for Transformation. Gemini also featured in Fortune magazine’s "Change the World" List and nominated for the Transformational Business Award by the Financial Times.

Mr Patawari was one of the first supporters of the UN-adopted Global Plastic Treaty to end plastic pollution and participates actively in policymaking at European and Global levels.

Passionate about sharing, Mr. Surendra adopted 11 villages in India for their medical needs, planted 100,000 trees & built two schools for over 400 students.
