Biography
Wolfgang Trunk is team leader for the Waste Framework Directive at the European Commission, DG ENVIRONMENT, with scope including packaging, construction & demolition, textiles and sewage sludge waste streams, and the Landfill Directive. He has nearly thirty years of experience working in policy, and holds a PhD on the subject of the economic evaluation of strategies to reduce emissions of harmful gases from dairy farms.
