Jean-Pierre Amorij is Technical Specialist at UNICEF’s supply division in Copenhagen. Within his role he is involved in tracking novel vaccine presentation, innovative vaccines and production technologies, barcode enabled verification and traceability of vaccines as well as sustainable procurement of vaccines. Amongst others Jean-Pierre is co-leading the Vaccine Innovation Prioritization Strategy (VIPS) with co-leads and partners from WHO, GAVI, PATH and the Gates Foundation. Furthermore, he is engaged in the onboarding of vaccine manufacturers into the Traceability and Verification System, called “trust” (TRVST), which is enabled by partners and hosted by UNICEF.
