Biography
A public policy and circular economy expert, Clem is the Founder and Lead Advisor at Circularium Africa Advisory. He is also an independent consultant to organizations, including the World Economic Forum’s Global Plastic Action Partnership (GPAP) where he serves as Africa Regional Lead, and the World Bank where he serves as plastics circularity consultant for the PROBLUE project in Nigeria.

Prior to transitioning to consulting in 2021, Clem held senior leadership and Board level roles in the corporate sector, including as Vice President for Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability at The Coca-Cola Company, where he advanced the company’s public policy and sustainable business agenda, including the World Without Waste initiative, across 33 markets in West and Mid Africa and the Islands.

Clem is a member of the Technical Committee of the African Circular Economy Alliance (ACEA) and is providing strategic advisory to the Alliance on the proposed initiative to develop a common regional recycling standards for food-contact rPET for Africa. He has co-authored or peer-reviewed policy papers and roadmaps on plastic circularity for Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa and the region.
