Many people and studies are highlighting the advantages of using reusable and refillable packaging as opposed to single-use packaging from a sustainability perspective. Governments around the world are implementing targets for the use of reusable and refillable packaging and are discouraging the use of single-use, nonrecyclable solutions via different financial incentives. Legislation like the European Union’s and Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) is set to transform the packaging industry as we know it.
