Lara Dammer heads the Economics and Policy Department of nova-Institute. She holds a Master's degree in Political Science from Bonn University. For more than 13 years, the focal points of her work have been the political framework conditions for the use of bio-based raw materials, carbon capture and utilisation as well as advanced recycling; environmental, climate, agricultural and energy policy; biomass potentials, macro- and micro-economic consideration of innovative technologies and market analyses. In her daily work, Lara is involved in several research and consultancy projects as well as managing the economics and policy team at nova-Institute. She leads the Renewable Carbon Initiative's policy working group and is actively involved in several legislative processes.
