Dr. Gerald Rebitzer, VP Sustainability Operations & Advocacy Europe & Asia, leads sustainability and advocacy across Amcor Flexibles and Amcor Rigids in Europe & Asia Pacific. Gerald has worked in sustainability for nearly 30 years, and in advocacy strategy and implementation since 2018. In addition to his work at Amcor, Gerald is Chair of the Board and Steering Committee of CEFLEX, an initiative driving circularity of flexible packaging, involving over 180 organizations from the complete value chain. He is also a Board member of the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative and Igora, the Swiss aluminium recycling cooperative, and Vice Chair of the Board of Europen (European Organisation for Packaging and the Environment).
