Biography

Ms Roussell serves as Global Public Affairs Lead, Packaging & Sustainability at Nestlé, where she manages global public affairs and engagement for packaging, the circular economy and sustainability. Her industry responsibilities include the Steering Board of the Global Plastics Action Partnership at the World Economic Forum, the Advisory Board of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s New Plastics Economy, and as Co-chair of the Policy Working Group of the Business Coalition for a Global Plastics Treaty and Advisory Committee Member to the GEF’s Plastics Integrated Program. She also serves as a non-executive Director of Insolight SA. She previously held leadership roles in sustainability consultancy, as CEO of the Global Solar Council, and Head of Public Affairs for Europe, Africa & Latin America at Trina Solar. In her early career Ms Roussell worked with the World Economic Forum, JA Solar and co-founded the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE). Ms Roussell holds degrees from Georgetown University, and IMD, with executive education with INSEAD, Wharton, and LBS. She speaks English, German, Mandarin Chinese, French and Spanish.
