Markus Gschwandtner received an Electrical Engineering degree at the Salzburg
Engineering College and an MBA degree from the McCombs Business School of the
University of Texas, in collaboration with the Imadec University, Vienna.
He has over 35 years of experience in the field of biaxial stretching equipment. He joined
Brückner in Siegsdorf, Germany in 1986 and has held various leading positions in technical
and start-up fields, marketing activities and more than 20 years in sales, serving as Sales
Director.
Markus served as Managing Director / CEO of Brückner Servtec GmbH, heading the
worldwide after-sales service activities for all Brückner and other OEM film production lines
from 2016 to 2024 focusing on customer centricity, high line availability and use of digital
products among others.
Since 2025 he is back at BRÜCKNER MASCHINENBAU GMBH as Managing Director /
CSO ensuring global sales, project management and product focus.
