Managing Director, SLOOP Consulting; Founder and Project Coordinator CEFLEX Graham worked for Unilever for 23 years in a wide range of global roles in the supply chain, in R&D and in Sustainability supporting both the foods and non-foods businesses. Since 2009, Graham is the Managing Director of SLOOP who offer consulting services, project management and tools related to making packaging more sustainable. Graham is the Project Coordinator (and founder) of the Circular Economy for Flexible Packaging (CEFLEX) initiative. CEFLEX is a collaborative initiative by over 170 companies from across the full flexible packaging value chain. CEFLEX works with and across the value chain to stimulate the delivery of the circular economy for flexible packaging materials in Europe by 2030. “We know how to make flexible packaging materials circular as per the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (2025). The real challenge is can we make the circular economy also economically sustainable?”
