Lindy Hughson is Managing Editor & Publisher of Australia’s leading media hub PKN Packaging News and President of the International Packaging Press Organisation (IPPO).

A business-to-business editor and content creator with 30 years’ experience reporting on FMCG packaging and manufacturing, Lindy has travelled widely to report on and participate in major local and international expos, conferences, and technology launches. At these events she has led inward missions, moderated panels, and presented at forums.

As managing editor of PKN, Lindy has her finger on the pulse of the latest developments shaping Australia’s packaging industry. She drives the delivery of engaging and insightful content on packaging through multimedia channels, including the Play PKN video bulletin and The PKN Podcast, which she hosts.

Curator of the PKN Women in Packaging events, Lindy is committed to developing the platform to champion diversity in the workplace and amplify the voices of women who are making a significant contribution to the industry.

Lindy is the recipient of the 2024 Distinguished Service Award for Excellence in Journalism presented by the Australian Institute of Packaging.
