Tim Sykes is brand director at Packaging Europe, a platform dedicated to helping the international FMCG packaging value chain meet the strategic and technological requirements of a rapidly changing world. Passionate about promoting a sustainable future for packaging, he has wide interests around the innovation and alignment needed to meet the planet’s packaging challenges – in particular, environmental drivers, but also the demands and opportunities around consumer engagement and digitization. Tim is the founder and organiser of the Sustainability Awards, the leading global competition focused on sustainability in packaging, and of the Sustainable Packaging Summit. Outside of his role at Packaging Europe, Tim is active in supporting industry advancement through roles such as serving on the HolyGrail 2.0 Advisory Group and, for several years, the Packaging Innovation Awards jury.
