Dr. Feng Wang has been working in United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as a Programme Officer, on topics of sustainable consumption and production, circular economy, life cycle assessment and waste management. Currently, he is the coordinator of the UNEP Plastics Initiative, which is a UNEP-wide program aiming to tackle global plastic pollution, by creating an enabling environment to accelerate market transformation towards a circular economy of plastics. This plastic program under his coordination has a specific focus on activating upstream innovation and solutions related to reduction and reuse, and has active projects in 60 countries, spanning various geographical regions, sectors, intervention areas, and stakeholders.
