Name
Woola
Description
Up to 50% of wool goes to waste in European countries, amounting to 200,000 tonnes every year. Woola sources such wool directly from farmers — who would otherwise burn or bury it — and turns it into sustainable packaging that replaces plastic bubble wrap.
Wool is a naturally high-tech material. Its elasticity, water repellency and resistance to temperature extremes make wool a perfect material for packing items that need extra cushioning.
Woola packaging is used by premium ecommerce and luxury retailers to protect their products during shipping.
Woola has won several awards for its innovative solutions, including the LVMH Innovation Award in the “Sustainabilty & Greentech” category. Last year, Woola also announced that two houses of the LVMH Group are already using Woola packaging.
